Summer School is a summer discipleship program at Christian Life Austin. Whether you are trying to "catch up" or "get ahead", Summer School is designed to help disciple you and take your next step.
Who Is Summer School For?
Summer School broken down in to two groups, Men & Women. This means that Summer School is designed for everyone.
Men
Are you willing to go down without a fight? Because it could be happening. Your marriage, your family, and your heart are in the battle zone. It’s time to man up—for God. It is time for men to uncover who we really are – we are created in the image of God with a warrior’s heart. Men of God need to be equipped to fight the battles that matter most; the ones that determine the state of our hearts, the quality of our marriages & relationships, and the spiritual future of their families. Fight.
Our first meeting will be Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 5:00pm.
Women
In this four-session video Bible study, some of today’s best-loved authors and speakers look at the spiritual lessons learned from four women in the Bible and what they mean for you today. As you look at each of the women’s lives, you will discover how to:
- Apply biblical lessons to your own modern-day struggles
- Live through your failures as well as your successes
- Draw near to God in a world filled with trials
- Find lasting contentment in every situation
- Overcome rejection and insecurity…and much more
This fresh look at these women in the Bible will help you discover new insights into God’s character, persevere through difficult times, and find joy in the hope that Jesus has provided to you. This study guide includes background information on each woman, discussion questions, Bible exploration, and personal study and reflection materials for in-between sessions.

When Does Summer School Meet?
Once you join a group, you will have access to that group's event calendar.
The Women's group will meet on Sunday nights starting on July 9, 2023 at 5:00pm. The last women's group meeting will be Sunday, July 30, 2023.
The Men's group will meet on Sunday nights starting on July 9, 2023 at 5:00pm. The last men's group meeting will be Monday, August 7, 2023.
Common Questions
We have childcare workers that are trained and background checked on Sunday nights for both group meetings. Cost is $5 per child per night. All funds collected go directly to the childcare workers.
For the first meeting, plan to bring your Bible and yourself! Your group leaders will let you know what to bring for the following weeks.
