Life Is Better In A Group
At its core, a LifeGroup is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. We all need each other and that's why we have LifeGroups. Whether you're new to groups and leading for the first time, or a seasoned leader, there's a place for you!
Here is how you become a LifeGroup Leader at CLA:
STEP ONE
DECIDE
LifeGroups are interest-based, which simply means that you take whatever you enjoy doing and make it a group!
You could start:
- A “Mommy and Me” group
- Running group
- Sports group (basketball, flag football, etc)
- Coffee group
- An online gaming group
- Or lead new friends through a Bible Study
Whatever INTERESTS you, make it a group!
STEP TWO
REGISTER
Leading a LifeGroup isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Once you decide on your group topic, your meeting details (place, time, day of the week, etc.), register your group.
Leader Registration for the Fall 2024 Semester opens on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
STEP THREE
ATTEND
Once you have submitted your group, one of our team members will reach out to you via email. Our team will give you further instructions on how to attend Leader Training. Below are the dates for the this Semester:
- Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 8:30am
- Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 8:30am
- Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 8:30am
- Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 8:30am (final)
You only need to attend Leader Training once. Click the button below to RSVP.
If you have attended Leader Training during a previous semester, you do not have to attend again. However, if it has been 3 or more semesters since you last attended, we encourage you to go through training again.
During LifeGroup Leader Training, you will get more instructions, how to host your group and a whole lot more resources on how to be the best leader you can be!
STEP FOUR
PRAY
The success of LifeGroups depends on prayer. Prayer is foundational to our church. As you prepare for this semester begin to pray for God to work through your group. Pray that God will send the right members to your group. Pray that God will be in your group. Make prayer a part of your group this semester.
IMPORTANT DATES
Below are some important dates for this upcoming semester:
- LifeGroup Leader Registration Closes July 17, 2024
- LifeGroups officially open August 4, 2024
- Week 1 begins August 18, 2024
- Week 13 begins November 16, 2024 (final week)
- Freedom Conference is November 15-16, 2024
